Annual Benefit Auction

Monday, February 22, at 5:00 p.m.
Monroe County History Center

Our annual auction of antiques, art, furniture, jewelry, and miscellaneous treasures will once again be held at the History Center. Doors open at 5pm for perusing, and food is available to keep patrons sustained as they go head to head with other bidders.

Merchandise donated for auction should be "better than garage sale." Furniture, jewelry, special art, collectibles, antiques, silver, china, and gift certificates are great sellers. If you have a major or unique item to contribute, let us know well in advance, so that we can research the item and list it in our newspaper ad.

And don't forget, because we have warehouse space, the Society can accumulate and store donated merchandise year-round. This means that contributions for the auction or June garage sale can be accepted at any time. Our 2010 sales of donated items will total more than $30,000! Donations are tax-deductible.

All proceeds benefit the Monroe County History Center. Donated auction items accepted through Saturday, February 20 at 4pm.
