Annual Gala Benefit

Location: Cook, Inc
750 N. Daniels Way, off Ind. 46 (Whitehall Pike)

Friday February 12
6:00 p.m.

James Madison, Indiana University's Thomas Milton Miller and Kathryn Owens Miller Professor of History, will speak on "My Hoosier Heroes." He will challenge us to choose our own heroes as he shares stories of his favorites, including Eli Lilly and little-remembered Flossie Bailey.

The dinner will be a buffet of Bobby's Classic Catering favorites. Wine is from the Oliver Winery.

We have an intriguing array of silent auction items this year.  What appeals to you? A hot air balloon ride over Monroe County, a French Lick Resort stay with golf, a complete set of "Desperate Housewives" episodes, or a gift certificate for dinner at Restaurant Talent?. There will be many possibilities in a wide range of values. Please come and support the History Center.

Tickets are $50 per person (members $40) and $500 for a table of 8, qualifying the sponsor for an engraved brick in the path to the History Center entrance. Social hour and silent auction begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.
