"Faces and Places Photographs Project" |
The Faces & Places project is an
initiative by the Monroe County Historical Society to encourage the
community to loan photographs to be scanned. By scanning the
photographs, one-of-a-kind pieces of our local history are saved for
future generations.

"Doll Made in Germany" |
This display is also situated in a display
case in the hallway off the main History Center entrance. The
doll was made in Germany ca. 1910; its Bisque head was made by
Simon Halbig. Donated by Carlotta Heid Flemming in 1985.

"Trip Down
Memory Lane" |
An array of "mystery" items is displayed
in this hallway case. Examine them and make educated guesses
about what each is, and what it was used for. Answers are
available in the display.

Admission to
the Museum is free to members (and a number of guests depending on
membership level).
For the Current and Permanent Exhibits, adults' admission is $2 and for children 5 - 18
admission is $1; 4 & under free. Donations are also very welcome.
